Coaching for the modern leader: purpose-driven, balance-focused
High performance is table stakes β todayβs leaders bring clarity, composure, and conviction. At The Coaching Agenda, I offer strategic, outcome-oriented coaching for professionals navigating complexity, transition, and growth. Whether you are stepping into a bigger role or recalibrating how you show up as a leader, my approach helps you strengthen your executive presence, lead with intention, and sustain performance without sacrificing balance.
My coaching approach is grounded in the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics, ensuring that every engagement is delivered with professionalism, integrity, and impact.
-
We start with a no-obligation conversation to explore your leadership challenges, career context, and coaching goals. This session helps us assess fit β and gives you space to reflect on what you want from the engagement.
Outcomes: Shared understanding of purpose, coaching readiness, and high-level themes to explore.
-
Once we agree to move forward, we formalize the engagement with a clear coaching agreement. Together, we define what success looks like and how weβll measure progress. This may involve leadership capability assessments, 360 feedback, or input from sponsors (if applicable). I work with you to shape realistic, stretch-oriented objectives aligned to your leadership role.
Outcomes: Signed coaching agreement, focus areas, success criteria, and session cadence.
-
This is the heart of the coaching engagement. Sessions are structured yet flexible β led by your evolving needs and anchored in the outcomes we agreed. Topics may include navigating complexity, building executive presence, leading change, improving communication, or making values-based decisions.
Between sessions, I may share curated tools, models, or thought leadership to support your reflection and learning.
Outcomes: Greater clarity, behavioural shifts, increased leadership impact, and momentum toward goals.
-
Midway through our engagement, we review your progress and recalibrate as needed. This may involve re-scoping goals, celebrating wins, or surfacing new themes as your context evolves.
Outcomes: Alignment on progress, renewed focus, and re-prioritised actions if needed.
-
Our final session consolidates insights, identifies personal growth themes, and defines whatβs next. Whether it's embedding your learnings or transitioning to a new leadership challenge, we ensure closure with intention.
Outcomes: Summary of key insights, a forward-looking development plan, and clear next steps.
My Coaching Process
Leadership coaching is not a one-size-fits-all service β and thatβs exactly the point. While every engagement follows a structured coaching framework, no two journeys are the same. Your goals, your context, and your leadership style shape the agenda. What remains consistent is my commitment to clarity, progress, and outcomes.
Coaching with me is built around a professional agreement, long-term focus, and trust-based accountability β this is where it differs from mentoring. In mentoring, I may draw on my experience to offer advice. In coaching, I help you uncover your own answers, deepen awareness, and build the capabilities to lead with greater intention and confidence.
